History Center staff worked with four well-known Central Floridians on DNA and genealogical research to understand the rich and varied family backgrounds represented in our community. Pamela Schwartz has won national awards for her work as chief curator of the Orange County Regional History Center in Orlando. In her nearly 20 years of museum and consulting experience as a director, curator, and designer, Schwartz has become a national authority on contemporary and urgent-response collecting. She first became interested in genealogy during high school and has been hooked ever since.
