Professional community members contribute to History Center planning as part of Advisory Committees such as Programming and Marketing, Development and Fundraising, and Exhibits and Collections. These dedicated volunteers lend their time and expertise to make the History Center a successful and effective community resource. Advisory Committees meet bi-monthly or quarterly and provide valuable ideas and feedback. The Orlando Remembered Committee is an affinity group of the Historical Society of Central Florida. They meet monthly and are responsible for placing small exhibits around the city that reflect the history and heritage of old Orlando www.orlandoremembered.org
As a History Center volunteer, you can help a great organization by sharing your time and talents.
