When school is out, fun and learning are in at the History Center! Children can spend the day involved in creative activities that explore history.

Famous Forts and Ports

Forts and ports have played important roles in American history. Learn why ports were especially important to Central Florida and discover how forts were built and used for defense. Then, make your own model fort, recreate a battle, and sink a pirate ship!

Time: 9 a.m.-3 p.m. (Early drop-off starts at 7:30 a.m.; extended day available until 6 p.m. for an additional $10 per child, per day.)
Cost: Members $25 per child, per day
