Home School Programs
The History Center offers programs specially designed for Home School Students. Students can spend the day with their family and other Home School Students learning in a fun and engaging atmosphere.

African American Art Excursion

Discover four fascinating centuries of African American history in our new And Still We Rise quilt exhibit. Celebrate Black History Month through hands-on activities that focus on African culture, African American artists, and the people who changed the world. We’ll also work together to create a quilt which will be put on display in the museum!

Adventures of a Colonist
April 17, 2015

Join us on a historic adventure as we explore Colonial America. Learn about the early settlements, the colonization of Florida, and the Revolutionary War. Experience a day in the life of a colonist through hands-on activities, crafts, and more!

Programs have four start times: 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Families will rotate through four stations. Members: Free. Non-members: $15 adults, $13 students, $12 children (ages 5-12). Children under 4 are free.
