The History Center offers programs specially designed for Home School Students. Students can spend the day with their family and other Home School Students learning in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
Civil War: Behind The Scenes

Celebrate the 75the anniversary of Gone With the Wind through hands-on activities and instruction. Learn what this iconic movie masterpiece reveals about the Civil War, investigate the science behind wind and explore real props used in the film.

The Art of War

Join us as we commemorate the centennial of World War I with our new Trench Art Exhibit. Learn about Florida's important role in the war efforts and discover the history of both World Wars through hands-on activities and create your own version of trench art.
Member registration begins September 22, 2014. General registration begins October 13, 2014.
Programs have four start times: 10 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. Families will rotate through four stations. Members: Free. Non-members: $15 adults, $13 students, $12 children (ages 5-12). Children under 4 are free.
